MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience leading continuous improvement, business process optimization, SIOP deployment, operational excellence, business systems, ERP readiness, or data-driven transformation initiatives in a manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or operations environment
  • Experience documenting, analyzing, and improving business processes across multiple functions and translating process needs into system, data, reporting, or workflow requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline
  • Experience supporting or participating in ERP implementation, business systems deployment, process mapping, user acceptance testing, master data readiness, or enterprise software change management
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, dashboards, KPI development, data visualization, and reporting used to support operational decision-making
  • Line operations experience in production, materials, sourcing, distribution, logistics, planning, quality, service, or customer-facing operational processes
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial, operational, and productivity measurements in a lean enterprise and the ability to connect process improvements to measurable business outcomes

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • 60% - Lead cross-functional process optimization initiatives that improve operational performance, reduce waste, standardize workflows, and strengthen business readiness for future system transformation. Develop current-state and future-state process maps, identify gaps, define requirements, and align stakeholders on sustainable process improvements.
  • 20% - Develop and deploy Business Intelligence tools, dashboards, metrics, and reporting processes that increase visibility to operational performance, support data-driven decision-making, and enable leaders to monitor process health, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • 20% - Support the 202x ERP implementation by serving as a business process owner and deployment partner, including requirements gathering, process standardization, data readiness, testing support, training coordination, change management, and post-deployment stabilization of new tools and workflows.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong project leadership experience with the ability to lead cross-functional process improvement, business systems, and digital enablement initiatives
  • Ability to evaluate business needs and priorities, define improvement roadmaps, and bring others along through clear communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior management, teams, and individuals across a variety of settings and functions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including the ability to use operational data, Business Intelligence, and root cause analysis to identify opportunities and frame logical business conclusions
  • Proven experience documenting current-state and future-state processes, defining requirements, and translating process needs into system, data, reporting, and workflow improvements
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple improvement and ERP-readiness workstreams
  • Sound business acumen operating in high mix, low volume and high volume, low mix production environments
  • Demonstrated personal flexibility in approach and ideas, with the ability to adapt processes, tools, and deployment plans as business needs evolve
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to train, coach, and support users through new processes, tools, and software deployment activities

Level of Independence: This position acts under the direction of the Vice President Operations, and has a high level of autonomy. A self-starter attitude and ability to make decisions to continue the progress of the project is necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Up to 20% domestic travel.
