Continuous Improvement Manager

Sandicci, Italy

Join us as a Continuous Improvement Manager and lead our Journey to Excellence program, driving operational excellence through Lean, automation, and digitalization initiatives. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you will identify improvement opportunities, optimize processes, develop employee capabilities, and deliver sustainable performance, quality, and cost improvements across the site.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site, acting as an internal consultant to identify opportunities, optimize business processes, and deliver measurable results.
  • Partner with process owners and functional teams to implement sustainable improvements, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with the site's overall improvement strategy.
  • Develop, track, and report key performance metrics, using data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous optimization.
  • Design and deliver training programs that build continuous improvement capabilities and foster a culture of operational excellence at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to cross-functional teams, enabling high performance and successful execution of improvement projects.
  • Promote the sharing and replication of best practices, ensuring successful solutions are scaled across the plant and leveraged across other sites where applicable.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Quality within a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, TPM, WCM, problem-solving methodologies, and change management principles.
  • Proven project management, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Good understanding of production processes, supply chain operations, quality systems, and GMP standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and leading teams in a high-performance environment.
  • Fluent English and a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on developing people and processes.

Compensation: starting from € 39,000.00 month

Final salary will be determined as part of any final offer and will consider factors such as skills, education, role-specific experience, and internal equity among current employees.

Eligible roles may also participate in one of McCormick’s Bonus Plans. In addition to a competitive compensation package, McCormick employees are eligible for our comprehensive Total Rewards programs, which include, but are not limited to:

McCormick ensures compensation is determined in line with the principle of equal pay for work of equal value, regardless of gender.

The CCNL classification will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile.
