Job Title: Continuous Improvement Lead
The role is part of a high-performing Finance Operations and Transformation organization focused on driving process excellence, operational efficiency, and value realization across the Account-to-Report (A2R) and Controlling Operations (ContOps) landscape.
As part of the Continuous Improvement network, the Continuous Improvement & Value Realization Lead will play a critical role in advancing Sanofi's transformation agenda by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing opportunities to simplify, standardize, harmonize, and optimize end-to-end Finance processes.
This role collaborates closely with senior leaders, process owners, Finance Operations teams, and neighboring functions to deliver measurable business value, accelerate innovation, and strengthen alignment with the Sanofi Operating Model (SOM), Internal Controls, and strategic objectives.
The position provides an excellent opportunity to influence global transformation initiatives, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and contribute to the evolution of Finance Operations into a best-in-class organization.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Finance, Shared Services, Global Business Services, Continuous Improvement, Transformation, or related support functions. Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives required. Exposure to Finance leaders and project leadership environments preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. Proven ability to influence and engage diverse and senior stakeholders. Highly collaborative, customer-oriented, proactive, and results-focused. Strong facilitation, coaching, and change management skills. Ability to work independently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver against strict deadlines. Passion for continuous learning and operational excellence. Demonstrates Sanofi Play to Win behaviors.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Finance processes, especially Account-to-Report (A2R) and Controlling Operations. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Design Thinking is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience using KPIs and performance metrics to drive decision-making. Experience with process mapping, value realization frameworks, and operational excellence tools. Knowledge of SOX controls and Internal Control environments required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Project Management are a plus.
Systems: Experience with SAP and BlackLine preferred.
Languages: Advanced English level required. Additional languages are considered an advantage.
