We have an opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team and help drive continuous improvement efforts at our Kansas City site. This role focuses on operational transformation using Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced problem-solving tools in an oral solid dosage manufacturing environment. You will lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with teams to deliver impactful results. This is a chance to make a real difference in improving processes and supporting a culture of excellence.

The Role
Lead Operational Excellence projects to improve People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (PSQDC) results following site governance processes.
Conduct time and motion studies, process flow and value stream mapping, and develop standard work.
Lead teams in problem-solving activities, Kaizen events, and Six Sigma projects.
Collaborate with process owners to analyze and present data for process improvements.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities through GEMBA walks, site metrics, and Voice of the Customer data.
Assist in prioritizing and selecting projects that leverage Lean Six Sigma tools to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma Project Leaders to complete projects on time by removing barriers and providing support.
Model advanced problem-solving and Lean leadership behaviors at the site level.
Work with process owners to present and translate data for process improvements.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Business, or Science required.
Results-oriented change agent with strong problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead by influence.
Experience with Continuous Improvement tools such as Just Do It (JDI), Kaizen, Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC), GEMBA, 5S, and SQDCP.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to interact with all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Experience with data collection and reporting, with strong analytical skills.
Preferred Skills & Background
Experience with advanced problem-solving methodologies.
Two years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including hands-on equipment experience.
Yellow or Green Belt certifications preferred.
