What you will be doing:
The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for leading a multi-functional team composed of CI, Training, QA, and Transition specialists, ensuring alignment across all programs. In this role, the GSSC CI Lead is expected to closely work together with the functional teams and to ensure consistent stakeholder engagement, communication, and alignment with GSSC leadership and business partners.
This role serves as the overall champion for all continuous improvement initiatives and acts as the central point of contact for CI strategy across GSSC, with the flexibility to take on regional CI lead responsibilities as needed.
As portfolio manager, the GSSC CI Lead is expected to be the subject matter expert on quality, process improvement, and knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement
Set the strategic direction, governance model, and portfolio framework for Continuous Improvement across the GSSC.
Provide oversight and direction to CI bucket leader (CI Sr. Specialist) in driving productivity and improvement initiatives across towers.
Champion CI capability building and driving academy certification projects
Act as the primary liaison between the GSSC, the SNL CI function, and senior leadership on CI strategy, priorities, and results.
Will be required to take up regional CI lead responsibilities as needed
Quality Assurance
Provide strategic direction and oversight to the QA Manager in establishing and maintaining the GSSC Quality Assurance framework.
Ensure effective governance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Oversee quality performance, risk identification, and escalation management for critical or systemic issues.
Ensure QA insights are translated into actionable improvements in collaboration with CI and Operations.
Knowledge Management
Define the knowledge management and learning strategy for the GSSC, ensuring alignment with business priorities and capability needs.
Oversee the effective management of the Learning & Development budget and ensure optimal utilization.
Ensure critical knowledge is identified, documented, and retained, with structured safeguards during transitions and employee movement.
Drive workforce capability development, including succession planning, resource continuity, and BCP-related readiness.
Transitions
Provide strategic oversight to the Transition Manager in executing and continuously improving the GSSC transition and migration framework.
Oversee strategic projects, initiatives, and other ad-hoc activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering
MBA a plus
Must be at least Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred.
PMP/Prince 2 Certified
10 years combined experience in process delivery, process excellence, continuous improvement and L&D
Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement projects.
Experience in process migrations required
At least 8 years of managing people of which 5 years gained from SSC or BPO
Proven business process management and project management skills
Experience in process mapping and analysis, project management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
