Job Description

1. Job Purpose
To lead loss elimination and process capability improvement in a designated area by driving the KHMS Zero Loss
journey, owning the Centreline DMS system, developing control strategies, and building frontline problemsolving
capability through coaching and technical leadership.
2. Key Responsibilities
Loss Elimination & Problem Solving
• Identify, prioritize, and eliminate chronic and sporadic losses using KHMS and reliability tools.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Universal Problem Solving (UPS) for critical issues.
• Maintain structured loss analysis routines with regular updates to the CI action pipeline.
Process Control & Standardization
• Own and lead deployment of the Centerline Daily Management System (DMS) in the assigned area.
• Define and maintain equipment standards and basic conditions (CIL and CL targets).
• Implement and conduct health checks for Centerline and Defect Handling systems.
• Lead change management processes related to Safety, Quality, Engineering, and KHMS.
Coaching & Capability Building
• Coach operators and team leaders in 5S, Clean-Inspect-Lube (CIL), Centerlining (CL), and structured
problem-solving.
• Conduct regular check-ins on CIL and CL checklist completion and compliance.
• Develop and deliver training, including One Point Lessons (OPLs), to drive standard work and knowledge
sharing.
• Build a zero-loss mindset and develop ownership on the floor.
Daily Leadership & Rhythm Execution
• Spend at least 80% of time on the floor, observing losses, supporting operators, and gathering data.
• Lead CI daily routines, including data review, planned stops, RCFA, and floor coaching.
• Actively participate in DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings (Level 1 and 2), reporting progress and
flagging issues.
• Partner with Process Owner and Maintenance Lead to prioritize and align on improvement actions.

• Write and maintain SOPs, OPLs, and work standards.
• Act as a visible KHMS role model and change agent for Zero Loss.
• Drive standardization and reapplication of successful practices across shifts or lines.
