The Continuous Improvement Business Analyst supports process improvement, and decision support initiatives using analytical methods, industry research, and data-driven insights. This role identifies improvement opportunities through techniques such as workflow analysis, observation, interviews, data analysis, and root cause analysis. Responsibilities include working with data to support analysis and visualization, applying appropriate analytic, query, and statistical methods, and delivering information in clear, user-friendly formats for a variety of stakeholders. They will also develop benchmarks and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support ongoing measurement and performance monitoring. The position supports management efforts by helping guide and equip individuals and stakeholders as process improvements are implemented and sustained, emphasizes continued learning and application of analytic tools and techniques, and collaborates closely with and takes direction from the Senior Applied Scientist.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must possess process design, and analytical skills. Must have interpersonal skills necessary to build effective relationships and to adequately explore complex/sensitive situations with frontline staff when evaluating workflows and operational processes. Must have knowledge of health care delivery including strategy, business planning, operations and financial conditions. Must be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization. Proficient in the use of computer software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Enloe Health. Must have working knowledge of regulatory requirements including Joint Commission standards, HIPAA, Title 22 regulations, and Medicare Conditions of Participation. Must have knowledge of financial management and reporting, quality improvement processes, and human resources management. Must possess the ability to lead, motivate, delegate, analyze information and handle problem resolutions in an effective manner.
