About the Role

We are looking for a Content Writing Trainee to join our team and help create clear, engaging content across our website, blog, social media, and client-facing materials. This is a hands-on training role for someone early in their writing career who wants to build real-world experience writing for digital platforms and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit blog posts, website copy, and social media content that reflect the brand's voice.
• Assist in drafting content for client or internal projects, including product descriptions and marketing collateral.
• Research industry topics to produce well-informed, accurate, and engaging content.
• Support the team in repurposing long-form content into social media posts, newsletters, and short-form pieces.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, tone, and consistency before publishing.
• Collaborate with designers and marketing team members to align written content with visual and campaign goals.
• Apply basic SEO best practices (keyword usage, meta descriptions, headers) to written content.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate on drafts based on team review.

Qualifications

• Strong written English with excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
• A portfolio, writing samples, or academic work demonstrating writing ability (blog posts, essays, articles, etc.).
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable researching unfamiliar topics and turning them into clear, readable content.
• Ability to take direction and feedback well, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, or CMS platforms (WordPress) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
