Job Description

This role leads customer-facing content, social media and PR initiatives in Hong Kong to strengthen visibility, engagement and market credibility through clear, relevant and well-executed storytelling.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Content Direction & Thought Leadership
  • Define content priorities, themes and angles aligned with business focus areas
  • Develop thought leadership content across investment, protection and customer experience
  • Translate complex topics into clear, relevant and differentiated narratives
  1. Social Media & Community Management
  • Own and manage Zurich HK’s social platforms (FB, IG, Threads etc)
  • Plan and execute always-on and campaign content
  • Monitor performance and manage community engagement
  1. Content Creation & Delivery
  • Develop content across formats, eg. social posts, short-form video, articles / long-form pieces etc
  • Work with Creative Services, while remaining hands-on when needed
  • Ensure all output is clear, compliant and customer-friendly
  1. PR & Content Amplification
  • Develop media angles and story hooks for PR opportunities
  • Work with Corporate Communications to secure earned media coverage
  • Identify opportunities to extend reach through publishers, media and partnerships
  1. Content Visibility & Future-readiness
  • Develop content with consideration for discoverability across digital and AI-driven platforms
  • Structure content in a way that is clear, relevant and easily surfaced in search and recommendation environments
  • Work with Digital team where needed to align on content best practices

Job Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in content, social media or PR
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong audience and market context
  • Proven ability to develop thought leadership and media-worthy content
  • Strong writing skills in English and Traditional Chinese (Cantonese)
  • Experience managing social media platforms and content performance
  • Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and engaging content
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate content creation, and with a proactive approach to stay on top of AI-driven search and content discovery trends
  • Hands-on mindset; comfortable with execution, not just coordination purpose
  • Experience with design & editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar is an advantage
