We're looking for a strategic communicator who can own the narrative, positioning, and editorial direction across Moj, Kinship, and Trolley.
This is not a community management or content scheduling role. The Content Strategist is responsible for defining what the brands should be saying, why it matters, and how content aligns with larger business goals, launches, partnerships, speaking engagements, and brand positioning.
The ideal candidate understands founder-led brands, strategic storytelling, audience positioning, and how to turn real-world business activity into meaningful content opportunities across LinkedIn, Substack, Instagram, TikTok, interviews, and media appearances.
You should think like both a strategist and an editor — capable of identifying themes, shaping narratives, guiding campaigns, and ensuring all communication remains cohesive across channels and formats.
Own the editorial direction, narrative, and positioning of Moj, Kinship, and Trolley across all content channels
Maintain strategic oversight of web properties, LinkedIn profiles, and brand messaging as positioning evolves
Connect business priorities, launches, speaking engagements, events, and announcements into content opportunities
Define the topics, narratives, and communication cadence across platforms
Evaluate speaking engagements and media opportunities from a brand-positioning perspective
Provide campaign direction and strategic guidance to the Marketing Coordinator and creative team
Collaborate on campaign concepts, naming, creative direction, and messaging
Support press releases, media outreach, and external brand positioning when relevant
Identify opportunities for audience growth, monetization, and conversion through content strategy
Review performance data and refine strategic direction based on results
Report directly to the Production Lead (Gaby)
Provide strategic direction to the Marketing Coordinator for execution
Collaborate with Andru on campaign concepts and creative positioning
Work closely with Production and Marketing teams to align content with real business priorities
Use AI tools daily to support research, ideation, writing, positioning, and strategic workflows
Experience in strategic communications, editorial direction, or brand positioning
Strong background working with founders, executives, or personal brands
Deep understanding of LinkedIn, Substack, Instagram, and TikTok as strategic platforms
Strong editorial judgment and narrative thinking
Ability to connect business strategy with content execution
Strong communication and collaboration skills across creative and operational teams
High AI fluency and comfort integrating AI tools into daily workflows
This role is best suited for someone who:
Thinks strategically before tactically
Understands how positioning shapes perception and growth
Naturally identifies narratives, trends, and content opportunities
Enjoys shaping founder-led brands and public-facing communication
Balances creative thinking with business awareness
Operates independently and communicates clearly in fast-moving environments
