The Role
This role is for a content strategist who thinks far beyond blog posts. As Content, SEO & GEO Manager you will own Presidio's voice in the US market — ensuring that when enterprise procurement leaders search Google, ask ChatGPT, or scroll LinkedIn, Presidio is the answer they find. You will build the content engine that drives organic demand at scale, and you will be the first person in this business to own Generative Engine Optimisation as a dedicated discipline.

Responsibilities Include:

Content Strategy & Production

• Own the end-to-end content strategy for the Practice — aligned to ICP, buying stage, and persona
• Write and commission high-quality B2B content: white papers, buyer's guides, case studies, email copy, one-pagers, and blog posts
• Develop and manage the LinkedIn editorial calendar — including thought leadership articles in the voice of senior leadership
• Lead production of all gated demand generation assets: Win10 End of Life urgency guide, EUC Global Procurement Playbook, and quarterly content releases
• Build and maintain a content library that enables the ABM team to personalise outreach per account, persona, and buying stage
• Commission and manage external content agencies and freelance writers — briefing, reviewing, and approving all output to Presidio brand standards

SEO Strategy & Execution

• Own the organic search strategy for IT procurement and digital workspace — targeting US enterprise buyers
• Conduct keyword research, competitive gap analysis, and content audits to maintain a rolling SEO content calendar
• Optimise all web page copy, metadata, H-tags, and structured data for target keywords
• Monitor and report on organic search performance weekly — rankings, impressions, clicks, and conversions
• Work with the digital agency on technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, and page speed optimisation

GEO — Generative Engine Optimisation

• Audit and execute the Presidio GEO strategy — increasing citation frequency in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and other LLM-based search tools
• Build structured, LLM-ready content formats: comprehensive FAQs, comparison guides, and definitional content designed for AI ingestion and citation
• Monitor Presidio's citation rate across key LLM platforms on target queries
• Stay ahead of GEO best practices — tracking model and algorithm changes that affect content retrieval
• Develop a GEO measurement framework reportable to the Vice President and CMO

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• 4+ years of B2B content marketing experience with a track record of content driving measurable demand generation outcomes
• Strong SEO expertise — keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO fundamentals, Google Search Console and GA4
• Exceptional writing skills — you write compellingly for a CFO, an IT Director, and a CPO, and you know the difference between how each of them reads
• Experience managing content agencies and freelancers — briefing, reviewing, and holding to standards and deadlines
• Commercially minded — you understand how content supports pipeline and can articulate content ROI in business terms

Preferred Skills and Professional Experience:

• Understanding of or active interest in Generative Engine Optimisation and LLM content strategy
• Experience in IT, technology, or B2B professional services content marketing
• Experience writing executive thought leadership content in the voice of senior leaders
• Familiarity with HubSpot for content performance tracking, email copy, and landing pages
