Content Platform Engineering Intern

What you will do

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Content Platform Engineering Intern who wants to make a difference.

The Content Platform Engineering Intern is a specialist in GitHub architecture with a strong foundation in repo structures. You will work closely with the project team to migrate a large volume of DITA xml-based content into GitHub whilst maintaining documentation structure and project relationships. You will implement GitHub architecture and ensure reliability as well as ensure seamless publishing protocols are preserved in GitHub.

How you will do it

The Content Platform Engineering Intern will migrate DITA xml-based content to a GitHub based architecture. You will work closely with the project team to ensure a smooth transition and implement GitHub information architecture. As an expert in the Dev Ops field, you will have an understanding of content-based platforms and their infrastructure. You will interact with cross-functional teams from around the world. You should adapt readily to changing work demands and maintain composure under pressure. You must work effectively with peers, share information, demonstrate integrity, and deliver on your commitments.

What we look for

  • Extensive experience and familiarity with GitHub
  • Degree or qualification in computer science, software development or cloud computing with experience in Dev Ops
  • Experience or knowledge of Python or other scripting-based languages
  • Familiarity with AI tooling to improve processes and procedures
  • Exposure to CI/CD and Automation tools - Exposure to GitHub Actions, build pipelines, automated testing, or validation workflows

Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with content-based platforms and repo structures
  • Planning and scheduling skills
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of DITA or other XML standards
  • Experience working on global team
