Job Description

We are Europe’s leading podcasting platform, home to award winning exclusive originals, audiobooks and podcasts. We work with some of the best and most exciting Creators across Europe, and publish over 700 episodes a month, all powered by our innovative technology and a seamless consumer experience. We are now looking for a Content Operations Lead to support Danish market.

We spark conversations that connect us. Come and join us on our journey.

This is the role

As our Content Operations Lead, you will own the end-to-end coordination of content operations in Denmark, operational excellence across planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

Leading a small team of content operations professionals, you will act as the central bridge between our Content, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams. You’ll translate data into action to support content investment decisions and drive continuous improvement in how content is planned, published, and optimized. Crucially, you will also support and prepare negotiations with both external and internal stakeholders by providing relevant data, financial analysis, contract inputs, and operational context.

What you'll do:

Planning & Financial Oversight

  • Build and maintain the annual content plan, aligned with core business goals.
  • Own budget and cost control by updating episode costs, affiliate fees, and monitoring spend against targets.
  • Lead the forecasting process (spend, intake) using internal content tools.
  • Prepare business cases, financial scenarios, and cost analyses to support commercial decisions, new show investments, and stakeholder negotiations.

Performance & Insights

  • Own and monitor core consumption, engagement, and retention metrics for the market.
  • Own operational metrics such as Forecast Accuracy and Contract Turnaround Time.
  • Review performance across shows to identify risks and opportunities, informing renewal decisions.
  • Flag major market trends and coordinate root cause analysis.
  • Act as a thought leader on how to manage and track content performance, sharing best practices across markets.

Content Operations & Publishing

  • Manage and optimize the content portfolio, both on- and off-platform, in close collaboration with the Content team.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate timely content releases while communicating publication plans clearly to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and improve content systems, administering content metadata (e.g. via CMS) to ensure accuracy and discoverability.
  • Establish and refine standard operating procedures to streamline content workflows and increase speed, quality, and scalability.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Manage contract creation in Juro (our contract management system) and ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional content approvals across Content, Marketing, and Legal.
  • Provide ongoing operational support to internal departments, including Finance, Legal, Data, CRM, and Product.
  • Act as the local driver of operational excellence: feed insights, friction points, and innovation opportunities into the global Content Ops team, ensuring rapid implementation of central improvements locally.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage a small team of content operations professionals, providing day-to-day guidance and setting clear priorities.
  • Support the development of team members, fostering accountability, data fluency, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure the team's work is well-coordinated with global content ops standards and local market needs.

This is you

  • Analytical & Financial Modeling: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Creative & Commercial Balance: Ability to balance operational efficiency and financial business cases with a strong understanding of how a media and creative business operates.
  • Operational Planning & Prioritization: Proven track record in operational planning and prioritization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tool & System Expertise: Deep familiarity with Looker, Google Sheets, Juro, CMS platforms, and internal forecasting tools.
  • Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: High level of business acumen combined with a strategic mindset.
  • Process Optimization: A process design and continuous improvement mindset.
  • People Leadership: Experience in leading, guiding, coaching, and developing a small team.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both spoken and written Danish and English.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio and video content, creators, entertainment and the media industry is a big plus!

What We Offer

  • Equity Participation: All employees have the opportunity to benefit from company success through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Pension scheme and health insurance
  • Parental Leave: Up to six months of fully paid parental leave for all new parents.
  • Flexibility & Well-being: Flexible hours and remote work options to support work-life balance, external mental health support, and unlimited child sick days
  • Performance, Learning & Development: Access to resources to help you thrive and build your career within a high-growth, high-performing dynamic company.

We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and the preferred starting date is ASAP. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
