Job Description

Devsu builds custom software and engineering teams for U.S. financial institutions and fintechs, the platforms, APIs, and integration layers modern banks and lenders run on. This role owns the content engine that makes that expertise visible: research-backed thought leadership, search and answer engine visibility, and the organic community that turns an audience into a pipeline.

This is a specialist role, not a coordinator role. You'll independently design content programmes, run original research, and own SEO/AEO strategy end to end, writing credibly for a technical financial-services buyer while making that writing get found by search engines, AI answer engines, and the right people on social media. You'll use AI as a force multiplier, with rigorous human judgement on accuracy, nuance, and voice.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and run original, research-backed content — including an annual industry survey turned into a flagship report and spun into derivative content (articles, social media, email, and sales enablement).
  • Own SEO and AEO strategy and execution using tools like Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, and schema/structured-data tooling — entity SEO, structured data, and a deliberate approach to earning citations in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
  • Write strong website, landing-page, and email copy that converts, not just informs, working across WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot CMS and HubSpot (or equivalent) for email/automation.
  • Build and grow organic social communities (LinkedIn, Reddit, and relevant niches) as a lead-generation channel; brief and orchestrate paid social with the paid media specialist rather than running it directly.
  • Use leading AI tools to produce high-quality, well-researched content at pace, while owning fact-checking, accuracy, and voice, which is especially critical in a regulated space.
  • Track performance in GA4 and set content/channel priorities from the data; report on what's working and kill what isn't.
  • Own the KPIs the role ladders up to: organic search visibility (non-brand impressions, ranking keywords, qualified traffic), tracked answer-engine citations/mentions, content-sourced MQLs and pipeline, one published flagship research study per year, and community growth/engagement on priority channels.

Requirements

  • English writing (C1/C2), with a required portfolio of published work, ideally B2B, technical, or developer-adjacent.
  • 4+ years in content marketing with demonstrated ownership of strategy, not just execution.
  • Strong, current SEO expertise (technical and on-page), hands-on with tools like Ahrefs or Semrush and Google Search Console.
  • Demonstrated AEO capability, a real, articulable point of view on earning visibility/citations in AI answer engines, backed by examples.
  • Fluent, disciplined use of AI content tools with a clear human-in-the-loop process for research, fact-checking, and editing.
  • Analytics fluency, GA4 and Search Console at minimum; comfort connecting content to funnel outcomes (MQLs, pipeline).
  • Community and social lead-gen experience, building an audience organically and converting it.
  • Editorial rigour and self-direction: owns a content calendar independently with a high accuracy bar.

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of U.S. financial institutions and their tech stack, core banking, custom APIs, and integration layers.
  • Experience with survey/research design and interviewing internal SMEs or customers to extract insight.
  • Email marketing platform experience (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) and marketing-automation familiarity.
  • Executive ghostwriting/thought leadership and ABM content experience.
  • Light multimedia comfort to collaborate with a designer on repurposing content and social visuals.
  • Fintech or B2B SaaS domain exposure.

Benefits

A stable, long-term contract. Continuous Training. Private Health insurance. Flexible schedule. Work with some of the most talented software engineers in Latin America and the US, doing challenging work and world-class software for clients in the US and around the world.
