McGinnis Lochridge, a renowned Texas-based law firm, is seeking a Content Marketing & Business Development Specialist to join its Houston office and play a key role in enhancing the firm’s brand presence, thought leadership platform, and business development strategy, with a primary focus on its commercial litigation and energy practices.

This role is an ideal fit for a proactive marketing and business development professional who thrives as a trusted collaborator within a tight-knit office. The Specialist will support a wide range of initiatives and play a meaningful role in the firm’s growth.

The role in action:

• Partner with practice groups to advance initiatives, manage rankings submissions, and develop compelling pitches and client-facing materials.
• Drive business development efforts, including events, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and targeted industry and client research.
• Execute the firm’s digital content strategy, delivering high-impact content across web, email, webinars, and syndication platforms to drive visibility, engagement, and results.
• Manage editorial planning, flagship publications, webinars, and content analytics in partnership with attorneys and vendors.
• Build the marketing team’s capacity through mentorship, communications oversight, and technology optimization.

We are seeking candidates who:

• Bring 4+ years of experience in business development, marketing, communications, or other professional services settings; prior law firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Advanced degree a plus.
• Exhibit excellent communication, disciplined strategic thinking, and a versatile, ownership oriented mindset with a readiness to contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
