Acting as the organisation's "Content Editor," this role owns the end-to-end content plans across external digital platforms, including the corporate website, social channels, and corporate branding initiatives.

The role involves translating complex business milestones, investor relations, ESG goals, and employer branding initiatives into compelling narrative assets (video, photography, graphics, and copy). By collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external creative and digital agencies, the Content Lead ensures a world-class user experience, continuously leverages data to optimise reach, and protects and enhances AG Barr’s corporate reputation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Platform Management: Drive the continuous improvement, optimisation, and ongoing management of the AG Barr corporate website.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with a third-party digital agency and cross-functional internal teams (Brands, Talent Attraction, Finance, ESG) to develop an outstanding corporate web presence.
  • Corporate Identity Alignment: Ensure the digital environment reflects global best practices and aligns perfectly with corporate branding goals.

End-to-End Content Strategy & Execution

  • Multi-Media Creation: Direct, hands-on expert production of corporate visual and written assets (video editing, brand photography and videography, blogs, articles, social content and multi-channel creative direction).
  • Internal Channel Maximisation: Accountable for maximising the content created for external channels across internal channels as well, adapting it where necessary to drive deep employee engagement with both the AG Barr corporate brand and its respective consumer brands.
  • Executive Branding & LinkedIn Community Management: Own AG Barr’s LinkedIn account and activity to elevate the organisation's executive visibility and overall corporate reputation. Actively manage the corporate LinkedIn community to accelerate new follower growth, deepen brand loyalty, and cultivate authentic professional connections with industry peers, talent, and stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Storytelling & Community Support: Produce engaging campaigns highlighting cultural milestones (e.g., Pride, International Women's Day) and "Meet the Team" profiles.
  • Fizz Community Management: Play a vital supportive role in the community management of the internal Fizz platform, collaborating with the Communications Lead to keep internal channels vibrant.

Digital Performance & Content Analytics

  • Performance Tracking: Continuously monitor, review, and appraise the analytics and performance metrics of content published across the corporate website and all external social channels.
  • Data-Driven Optimisation: Use these insights to diagnose performance trends, make strategic improvements to visual and written assets, enhance user engagement, and actively drive traffic to AG Barr digital platforms.

Agency & Creative Management
