We are looking forContent Engineer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the digital building blocks that are used in our engineering software. These blocks represent both visually and control engineering products Vanderlande uses in its systems. This software package supports the various engineering departments around the world in drawing and configuring newly designed systems.
The goal of the Content Engineer is to guide the design process, and after the design process the Content Engineer is responsible for the development of the building block. Information required for designing these building blocks is gathered through various engineering departments within the organization.

In addition to designing and creating new building blocks, maintaining already released building blocks is also a task of the Content Engineer (Periodic release of Library).

The Content Engineer is also an important sparring partner for the software architects of the engineering tools.

Job Responsibilities/Core tasks

  • Designing and creating new blocks based on product documentation and input from the engineering departments.
  • Use XML code to build rule and constraints in ESoT tool.
  • Use of the repository tools JIRA , GitHub /source tree , Bit bucket and Bamboo .
  • Maintaining existing building blocks.
  • Periodic releases of building block libraries and supplying the associated support.
  • Supporting other Content Engineers to implement (changes in) the building blocks
  • Support and training of end users in the use of the building block libraries.
  • Consulting with the architects of the software development team on new opportunities and requirements of end users.

Qualification

BE. / B. Tech (Technical background preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics, and computer science engineering) degree from a recognized University / Institution.

Qualification

4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the field of logistic process automation.
