Job Description
As the window of TikTok’s business services, our TikTok UED Monetization team aims to enable clients to effortlessly connect with audiences and maximize brand potential. We want to ease and inspire clients to achieve their goals, explore more possibilities, and create value with TikTok.
As a content design intern, you will learn how UX writing supports product experiences by partnering across functions, incorporating feedback, and practicing customer empathy. Our core design team includes researchers, product designers, and UX writers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.
Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.
Candidates may apply to a maximum of two positions across Our Company and its affiliates globally. Applications will be considered in the order they are submitted.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early. Please clearly state your availability in your resume, including your start and end dates.
In this role, you will:
- Write and iterate on clear, conversational UI copy for ads and monetization experiences, such as labels, buttons, helper text, and system messages.
- Partner with product design, PM, engineering, research, and localization to learn the workflow and incorporate feedback quickly.
- Help maintain and apply content guidelines, voice, and terminology so experiences feel consistent across surfaces and markets.
- Participate in design critiques and reviews, and use what you learn to improve clarity, consistency, and content quality.
- Support process improvements for scaling content work, such as organizing patterns, documenting decisions, and tracking common issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Undergraduate in HCI or a related design discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly and revise quickly based on feedback.
- Comfortable collaborating in a cross-functional environment (design, product, engineering, research).
Preferred Qualifications
- A portfolio of writing samples (class projects are fine) that shows clarity, audience awareness, and iteration.
- Familiarity with design collaboration tools, such as Figma, and interest in how words work inside product UI.
