Duties and Responsibilities
As a Content Creator, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
• Plan, organize and create content for social media including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram.
• Plan and execute high-quality photography and videography for use across digital platforms, print collateral, and advertising campaigns.
• Conduct post-production work including editing, color grading, and packaging of final content for distribution.
• Monitor social media trends and recommend innovative approaches to elevate content quality and performance.
• Support influencer partnerships, collaborations, and onsite content shoots.
• In collaboration with the Marketing Communication Manager, help develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar, including content planning, scheduling and community engagement.
• Capture daily, weekly, monthly happenings, guest experiences, events, and behind-the-scenes moments at the resort, underwater and on land including back of house and host activities
• Work with resort teams (Marketing and Sales, F&B, Sustainability to name a few) to develop content strategies that drive engagement, drive bookings, drive exposure and brand awareness.
• Maintain digital commercial collaterals and photography library and ensure this data is safe and backed up with assistance of resort’s respective IT departments.
• Maintain proficiency in industry-standard tools, including but not limited to Photoshop, Lightroom, video editing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure the accurate delivery of the brand’s promise through content initiatives and engaging story telling.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Content Creator, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in social media management, content creation,preferably within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or travel brands.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Adobe Lightroom (or equivalent picture editing software) and Final Cut Pro (or equivalent video editing software).
• I am familiar with the equipment required for quality content creation such as professional cameras (DSLR/Mirrorless), usage of gimbals, drones, advanced mobile recording.
• I have an excellent command of written and spoken English and some knowledge of the local language and customs.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), content formats, and performance best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
