General Purpose of Job
The Content Creator is responsible for bringing the brand to life through compelling visual, written, and narrative content—serving as a primary on camera presence and recognizable voice of the brand. This role blends creativity with strategy, leading the creation and performance of original stories, campaigns, and digital assets that inspire, inform, and connect with our communities. The Content Creator will be prominently featured in video and digital content across platforms, translating brand values into engaging, authentic storytelling. This role also oversees content performance analysis and continuously refines content strategies to maximize engagement, reach, and impact in support of broader marketing goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
I. Strategic Content Development
•Develop and execute a long-term content strategy that aligns with business objectives, ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.
•Create and manage an editorial calendar to guide content production and distribution.
•Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative campaign ideas and original content initiatives.
•Generate topic ideas and craft informative blog posts that educate readers and are optimized for search engine performance and answer engine optimization.
II.Brand Storytelling & Creative Direction
•Capture authentic moments with our community, customers, and employees.
•Ensure that all content, including video, photography, and written pieces, adheres to brand guidelines and effectively communicates the company's values.
•Work closely with designers, videographers, and marketing team members to oversee the creative development of digital assets.
III. Community Engagement & Public Relations
•Serve as a key brand representative in online interactions, ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice.
•Must be comfortable appearing on camera and actively engaging with the community and employees to help create compelling content.
•Establish influencer collaborations and partnerships that align with the brand’s mission.
IV.Marketing Campaign Integration
•Partner with the eCommerce, Purchasing, and Retail teams to ensure promotional messaging is aligned with overall marketing strategies.
•Develop email marketing content and digital ads that drive measurable results.
•Oversee the creation of landing pages and website content to support campaigns and product promotions.
V. Digital Engagement, Optimization, and Performance Analytics (combined sections III and VI)
•Use performance insights and audience behavior to inform creative strategy.
•Track and interpret content performance using digital analytics to optimize strategies for increased engagement and conversion.
•Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in content production and distribution.
•Stay up to date with emerging trends and digital marketing tools and recommend adoption where applicable.
•Create best practices for content presentation and social media communication.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have direct reports but provides leadership in content strategy and execution across departments.
Required Qualifications
•Education & Experience:
oAssociate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field required.
o2 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or brand storytelling required.
oStrong portfolio demonstrating strategic content development and execution.
oExperience with Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and other digital marketing tools.
oMust have experience with Adobe Express and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
•Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interpret policies and procedures, analyze information, and apply sound judgment in varied situations. Capable of identifying issues, organizing information, and recommending practical solutions with limited supervision.
•Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform and apply business-related calculations such as percentages, ratios, basic financial analysis, reconciliations, and budget tracking, as applicable to the role.
•Written & Verbal Communication Skills:
Ability to prepare clear, professional correspondence, reports, and documentation; communicate information accurately and effectively with internal departments, vendors, and customers.

Work Environment
This role operates in an office environment, with regular work at offsite locations for content creation, including retail stores and outdoor settings. Occasional overnight travel and weekend work are required.
