The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Content and Social Media Specialist to create engaging content that reflects our brand and connects with our automotive audiences, whilst elevating our social media presence.

You will have the oportunity to drive your automotive passion by immersing yourself in the Pedders culture and attending various automotive trade and motorsport industry events; gaining rare and invaluable exposure and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

As a strategic and creative storyteller, you’ll be responsible for shaping our voice, building our community, and creating content that connects with both B2B and B2C audiences across the entire customer journey.

While every day is different, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating engaging, platform-appropriate content such as copy, images, short-form video, and basic motion, ensuring the messaging is tailored for the appropriate consumer channels.
  • Content strategy and social media calendar management; planning, scheduling, and optimise content through analytics and reporting.
  • Publish content and maintain the company’s social media accounts across various social media platforms and within suitable timeframes, monitoring platform trends and algorithm changes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to source and develop content for marketing campaigns, product launches, and key business initiatives.
  • Coordinate both organic and planned social content, ensuring it’s approved, and delivered on time.
  • Actively monitor and manage social media communities across platforms, reporting any customer service issues or reputational risks and responding to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely and on-brand manner.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Proven experience in social media management across multiple platforms.
  • Strong content creation skills, including copywriting for social media.
  • Experience developing and executing social media content strategies within the automotive industry
  • The ability to tailor content to suit both B to B and B to C markets
  • Proven success managing multiple platforms
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Confidence in community management and engagement
  • Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with scheduling tools and analytics platforms
  • Design and video editing skills for social content
  • A strong understanding of brand voice and visual identity
