Job Purpose:
The Content Acquisition Coordinator is an integral part of our team responsible for procuring an delivering finished tape programming for our North American market. Working closely with the ContentAcquisition management team, this role contributes to ensuring a robust slate of programming that drives customer acquisition, engagement and retention. The ideal candidate will have a natural interest in the streaming industry and a willingness to learn, along with an opportunity to enhance contract-reading skills and build relationships with distributors of UK television content
Responsibilities:
• Track all content submitted to the team – screeners, scripts, and pitch materials – logging status, team feedback, and other relevant information
• Collaborate with the Scheduling & Planning team to support content buying strategy
• Collaborate cross-functionally to secure deal-related materials and field associated questions
• Maintain accurate rights database for all deals/contracts alongside Acquisitions team
• Support the development of standardized internal workflows to improve efficiencies
• Track industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics to identify new content- buying opportunities and create executive summaries
• Coordinate team to review finished tape submissions in an efficient manner
• Aid in evaluating subscriber insights and trend analyses to iterate deals
• Manage team access for screening sites and competitive services
• Screen available content to ensure acquisitions are appropriate and well-suited for the service
• Act as Team Assistant by scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and supporting communication with external partners
• Update and maintain agendas for recurring meetings
• Attend screenings and events as recommended
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and reports as needed

Knowledge and Experience
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in the streaming industry
• Basic understanding of streaming industry rights/terms is a plus
• Basic ability to interpret contracts and understand negotiation principles is a plus
• Curiosity about emerging technologies is a plus
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours to accommodate international
colleagues
• Bachelor's degree in media studies or related field preferred
• Fluency with AirTable, Microsoft Office & Google applications
Salary Range: $65K base salary + competitive benefits + bonus potential
