The Loan Processor plays a key role in supporting our Commercial, Personal, and Relationship Bankers by coordinating the origination, compilation, and execution of both commercial and consumer loan documentation. This position is responsible for gathering, validating, and reviewing financial and collateral information; preparing accurate loan packages; and ensuring all approval conditions are met prior to closing. With extensive interaction across internal teams, customers, attorneys, and title companies, the Loan Processor provides exceptional service while ensuring each loan is documented, closed, and funded in accordance with bank standards.
In this role, the Loan Processor monitors exception reports, tracks outstanding documentation, maintains collateral insurance, and ensures the integrity of all credit files. They oversee pre‑closing and post‑closing activities, assemble complete loan files, and process paid loans in alignment with regulatory and retention requirements. The position also supports ongoing portfolio maintenance, including maturing loans, UCC continuations, and monthly reporting needs.
Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of loan structures, and a commitment to regulatory compliance. The Loan Processor remains current on all relevant federal and state regulations—including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, AML requirements, CIP, HMDA, and FCRA—and ensures all loan processing activities adhere to bank policies and procedures. Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field or 2+ years of loan processing, banking, or similar experience
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication with strong customer‑service orientation
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and a positive attitude; works well under pressure and adapts quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage situational tasks with minimal direction
- Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and document‑review skills with high attention to detail
- Comfortable calculating interest, rates, ratios, and percentages accurately
- Familiarity with key banking regulations such as BSA, AML, CIP, HMDA, and FCRA

Compensation and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 to $40.00 per hour. This pay range is contingent on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
