It is the responsibility of the Consumer Loan Processor to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. Functions include managing a pipeline of loan applications, collection and review of consumer loan related documents and driving the loan process from application through closing. Maintains compliance with SouthState Bank Corporate Code of Conduct and Ethics, regulatory requirements, Loan Policy, and Internal Procedures.

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation, Complete the Consumer loan processing Onboarding training plan, and additional relevant training identified by Management.
This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer with multiple monitors; must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to efficiently access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.

Telecommuting roles (remote) must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Must be able to thrive in the fast-paced environment of the Consumer Loan Processing Department.
Travel may be required to attend meetings or other Bank-sponsored events upon request by Leadership.
In accordance with Colorado and Virginia law: Pay for this position is anticipated to be between $49,863.00 - $79,653.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant’s skills, experience and education.
