As a CX -Social Application & Engagement Specialist in Consumer Safety & WellbeingDivisionyou will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Creating and executing original content (images, short form videos) and responses acrossFiltreteBrand’s owned social media channels 3-5 times a week to generate awareness and affinity for the brand;
  • Partnering with cross-functional team members (e.g., R&D, creative/agency partners) to develop industry-leading creative assets;
  • Gathering,analyzingand communicating social media KPIs to stakeholders using native insights, social management and analytic tools, and adjusting plans and content to further drive audience growth and engagement;
  • Contributing through leadership for social media and cultural trends that are relevant for the brand; present/socialize trends with division management, marketingteamsand R&D;
  • Monitoring, listening,interactingand responding to consumers, influencers, and other stakeholders posting comments or questions about air filtration and/orFiltrete™ brand airfiltration products, ensuring brand voice and quality standards are met during these interactions; and
  • Assistingwith the brand’s paid social media strategy.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3Mrequires(at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of experience posting and managing social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest withadditionalplatforms a plus in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Three (3) years of Knowledge of social media best practices and trends in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Three (3) years of Strong content creation experience, including ability to create and edit new social and video content in a private, public, government or military environment

Additionalqualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Previousexperience partnering with a consumer brand to create social media content

  • Strong communicationskills (both written and oral)

  • Knowledge and experience in theconsumer packagedgoods industry

  • Knowledge and experience in mass retail, online, and other consumer channels

  • Experience with marketing technology/tools

  • Ability to use analytics to take projects effectively from analysis to insight and implementation

  • Experience creating high-performing organic and paid social content for a consumer brand, including short-form video, community engagement, and platform-specific content strategies across channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest

  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical, product, or science-based information into clear, compelling social content that builds brand awareness, consumer trust, and engagement

  • Proficiency with social media management, listening, and analytics tools, with a track record of using performance insights to optimize content, inform strategy, and drive measurable business results

  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, including marketing, R&D, creative agencies, and influencers, to develop on-brand content and execute integrated campaigns

  • Work location: This rolefollows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.

  • Travel:May include up to5% domestic

  • Relocation:May be authorized
