Job Purpose:Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Early Warning framework by analyzing data, identifying emerging risks, and developing actionable insights to safeguard the bank’s non-delinquent consumer banking portfolio. Also, to ensure timely identification of vulnerabilities, enhances decision-making, and contributes to the overall resilience of the bank.Job Description:1.Develop, refine, and validate early warning triggers and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) tailored to specific products, segments, and risk levels.2.Analyse consumer portfolio trends using behavioural, transactional, and macroeconomic indicators to identify potential vulnerabilities.3.Provide actionable insights to mitigate potential risks, including detailed analysis of Unlikely-to-Pay (UTP) and forbearance portfolios.4.Create and maintain heatmaps, dashboards, and trend analyses to track changes in portfolio behaviour and performance.5.Generate periodic risk reports and ad hoc analyses to support senior management decisions.6.Ensure data integrity by collaborating with the Data Warehouse and Analytics Teams to validate data sources and maintain accuracy in reporting.7.Contribute to the design and execution of scenario analyses to evaluate the potential impact of economic, regulatory, and market changes on portfolio performance.8.Support the development of stress-testing scenarios to assess portfolio resilience and guide pre-emptive risk mitigation strategies.9.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Collections, Policy, IT, and Data Science, to integrate early warning insights into the bank’s broader risk management processes.10.Leverage cutting-edge technologies, such as AI/ML models, to enhance risk identification and forecasting capabilities.11.Utilize behavioural scoring models and multidimensional data to cluster customers into varying risk levels and anticipate credit risk factors.12.Analyse lifestyle, geographic, demographic, and transactional data to develop advanced models that predict customer behaviour and potential risks.13.Proactively recommend dynamic collection strategies for watch-listed customers to intensify pre-emptive recovery efforts.Policies, Processes and Procedures14.Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Day-to-day management15.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.Compliance16.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLSQualifications & Experience· Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.· Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.Skills· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.· Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.· Effective communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.· Knowledge of macroeconomic trends and their impact on portfolio performance.· Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.

Commercial International Bank was established in 1975 as a joint venture between the National Bank of Egypt (NBE, 51%) and the Chase Manhattan Bank (49%) under the name "Chase National Bank of Egypt”. Following Chase's decision to divest its equity stake in 1987, NBE increased its shareholding to 99.9%, changing the Bank’s name to Commercial International Bank (Egypt) S.A.E.
