This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled biostatistics professional to contribute to the design, analysis, and interpretation of innovative clinical research studies. Accountabilities:
- Provide statistical consulting to internal and external stakeholders, supporting clinical study design, planning, analysis, interpretation, and reporting aligned with regulatory and quality standards.
- Develop and review statistical analysis plans, ensuring appropriate methodologies, sample size calculations, randomization approaches, and data structures are correctly defined.
- Translate clinical and scientific questions into well-structured statistical hypotheses and analytical frameworks.
- Collaborate on the preparation and review of protocols, synopses, study reports, publications, and presentations to ensure statistical rigor and compliance.
- Advise project teams on statistical methodologies, industry standards, and innovative approaches to study design and data analysis.
- Communicate complex statistical concepts clearly to non-statistical audiences, supporting informed decision-making across teams and clients.
- Support project implementation by identifying gaps, risks, and improvements in analytical processes and study execution.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and study strategy discussions.
- Develop thought leadership content such as white papers, scientific publications, and educational materials to support client engagement and organizational visibility.
- Represent the organization in scientific conferences, workshops, and industry events to share expertise and stay current on methodological advancements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degrees are considered an asset.
- 4–6 years of experience in biostatistics, clinical research, or statistical consulting within a scientific or regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in clinical trial design, statistical modeling, and applied biostatistical methods.
- Experience preparing statistical analysis plans, protocols, and study documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate statistical findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain abstract statistical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong presentation skills and experience engaging with clients, stakeholders, and scientific communities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to scientific rigor.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and current advances in biostatistics and clinical research.
