As a Consulting Senior Associate, you will support the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), environmental permitting, and environmental management projects. You will work as part of multidisciplinary teams, contributing technical analysis, field data collection, reporting, and project coordination activities while developing your consulting and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Project Support

  • Support the implementation of EIA, ESIA, environmental permitting, and environmental management projects.
  • Conduct desktop studies, literature reviews, regulatory reviews, and environmental baseline analyses.
  • Assist with field surveys, environmental monitoring programs, and data collection activities.
  • Support the preparation of environmental impact assessment reports and permit applications.
  • Analyze environmental data and contribute to impact assessments and mitigation recommendations.
  • Coordinate with internal technical specialists and subcontractors as required.

Project Coordination

  • Assist project managers with project planning, scheduling, document control, and coordination activities.
  • Support quality assurance and health and safety requirements throughout project execution.
  • Ensure project deliverables are prepared in accordance with ERM standards and client requirements.

Client Support

  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials, technical summaries, and client communications.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation and project opportunities under the guidance of senior staff.

Professional Development

  • Develop technical expertise in environmental impact assessment and environmental management.
  • Build understanding of Vietnamese environmental regulations and international standards.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Learn and apply ERM methodologies, tools, and consulting approaches.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • Typically 2–5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, environmental assessment, permitting, monitoring, or compliance.
  • Understanding of Vietnam's environmental regulations and EIA requirements.
  • Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
  • Experience with environmental data management and interpretation is desirable.
  • Familiarity with GIS, environmental modeling software, or data visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
