We are looking for an enthusiastic Consulting Manager to join our Risk Consulting team in Athens and help us deliver excellence for our clients.
About the role
As a Consulting Manager, you will oversee and manage risk and governance engagements, acting as a key point of contact for clients while leading project teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality advisory services.
Your role will include:
- Participating in project teams delivering professional services to clients across a wide range of industries
- Developing and assessing internal control systems and corporate governance frameworks
- Designing, implementing and reviewing enterprise risk management frameworks, including risk policies and procedures
- Planning and performing internal audit engagements
- Contributing to the development of ESG strategies, policies and frameworks
- Preparing ESG performance reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards and reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, CSRD)
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on banking regulations, supervisory guidelines and regulatory expectations related to risk management and governance practices
What we are looking for
- Solid academic background in Economics, Business Administration or a related field (MSc in Risk Management or relevant field will be considered an asset)
- Professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CIA, FRM or equivalent), completed or in progress
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance or similar consulting roles
- Experience within the Banking Sector and familiarity with Greek and European regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, CSRD) and experience in sustainability reporting
- Proven track record in managing client engagements end-to-end, including project planning, team supervision and quality assurance
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and reviewing the work of team members
- Strong analytical thinking with effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal stakeholders
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
