About the role

Atos is seeking a senior, forward-thinking Consulting Industry Partner to lead strategic engagements across the European Institutions ecosystem, including the European Commission, DG DIGIT, EU agencies, and other European Union institutions.

This is a high-impact client-facing leadership role combining business consulting, strategic advisory, digital transformation, and commercial growth responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess a strong network within the EU Institutions environment and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at senior executive and Directorate-General (DG) level.

You will act as a trusted advisor to EU clients, helping them define and execute transformation strategies that combine policy objectives, operational modernization, and technology innovation. This role requires a strong understanding of how EU institutions operate, why they operate the way they do, and how technology and consulting services can support their mission objectives from both a functional and business perspective.

The role combines consulting leadership with business development and sales accountability. You will help grow and position Atos Consulting (Amplify portfolio) within the EU sector by identifying opportunities, shaping strategic engagements, and translating business challenges into technology-enabled transformation initiatives. You will work across Atos Consulting offerings including:

The ideal candidate brings deep consulting expertise, commercial acumen, EU institutional experience, and the ability to bridge business consulting with innovative technology solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to European Union institutions, including the European Commission, DG DIGIT, EU agencies, and related organizations.

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships and networks within EU Institutions, including Directorate-General (DG) leadership levels and senior stakeholders.

  • Help define and evolve Atos’ go-to-market strategy for the European Institutions sector and drive the growth ambition of the Consulting business within EU accounts.

  • Lead strategic consulting engagements focused on business transformation, digital modernization, AI enablement, operational efficiency, and innovation.

  • Understand EU institutional priorities, policies, and operational challenges and translate them into practical consulting and technology transformation initiatives.

  • Advise customers from a functional and business perspective, helping them understand how technology can support policy implementation, operational excellence, and citizen-centric services.

  • Take the commercial lead by identifying, developing, and closing consulting opportunities, both standalone and embedded within broader Atos technology programs.

  • Drive growth of the Atos Consulting (Amplify) portfolio within the European Institutions ecosystem.

  • Own Consulting Profit & Loss (Revenue and Margin) responsibilities across dedicated EU accounts.

  • Lead strategic account planning and transformation roadmaps aligned with clients’ business and technology objectives.

  • Promote AI-enabled transformation initiatives and advise clients on emerging technologies, innovation opportunities, and digital enablement strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with Atos Growth teams, Client Executive Partners, and technology practices to position integrated consulting and technology solutions.

  • Manage multidisciplinary teams while ensuring high delivery standards, customer satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of EU regulatory dynamics, public sector trends, digital policies, and emerging technologies.

  • Share consulting best practices, thought leadership, and industry expertise with the broader Atos Consulting community.

  • Engage with strategic industry and ecosystem partners to collaboratively deliver value-driven outcomes for EU clients.

Requirements

  • A completed academic Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Informatics, Engineering, Digital Transformation, Economics, Public Administration, Business Management, or equivalent).

  • Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in management consulting, technology consulting, digital transformation, or advisory services.

  • Proven experience working with European Institutions, including strong understanding of the EU ecosystem, governance structures, and institutional operations.

  • Established network and high-level connections within EU Institutions, including Directorate-General (DG) stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Strong consulting background with the ability to understand EU business and operational challenges and advise clients from a strategic and functional perspective.

  • Strong commercial and sales mindset with demonstrated ability to grow consulting business, develop strategic accounts, and close complex opportunities.

  • Strong understanding of technology trends and digital innovation, including Data & AI, cloud transformation, business platforms, and emerging technologies.

  • Tech-savvy profile with the ability to engage clients on AI enablement, digital modernization, and technology-driven business transformation initiatives.

  • Proven ability to position consulting services that lead to broader technology and transformation programs.

  • Proven ability to influence and build trust at executive and C-level, particularly with CIOs, CTOs, COOs, CDOs, DG stakeholders, and transformation leaders.
  • Experience within large consulting organizations or Big Four consulting environments is considered a strong advantage.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Dutch and/or French are considered strong advantages.
