ONYX Insight is looking for a Consulting Engineer to support the delivery of high-value technical consultancy projects across the wind energy sector in Latin America and Europe. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems and turning data into actionable insights.

What you’ll do

• Deliver consultancy projects including engineering data analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), O&M optimisation, life extension, and technical due diligence
• Engage directly with clients to understand challenges and present clear, actionable recommendations
• Analyse large datasets to identify performance issues and improvement opportunities
• Prepare and deliver high-quality technical reports and presentations
• Manage complex projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to high quality standards
• Support continuous improvement of methodologies and engineering approaches
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver projects across LATAM an Europe when required
• Work on-site when required, including onshore and offshore wind turbines

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical roles related to wind turbine technology or wind farm operations
• Previous experience at a wind turbine OEM, power producer, or renewable energy consultancy
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following: RCA and failure investigation, performance analysis, O&M, life extension, electrical systems
• Solid data analysis capabilities
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques for wind turbines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear way
• Experience managing complex projects and working directly with clients
• Hands-on mindset and ability to work on-site (onshore and offshore)
• Comfortable working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and solving problems independently
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages such as Spanish, German or French are a plus
• Availability and willingness to travel across LATAM and to Europe
