Job Description

In this role, you will contribute to the development and growth of ERM’s Capital Project Delivery business. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, energetic and excellent communicators in both written and spoken English. They must be comfortable dealing with clients and project stakeholders; and, as well as supporting environmental and social impact assessments and sustainability due diligence. Relevant experience or understanding about renewable energy development is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Act within a team to deliver environmental and social consulting services (including environmental or social impact assessments, sustainability due diligence and related mitigation/plan reporting against applicable standards) for private sector clients and financial institutions (eg IFC, ADB, World Bank) throughout Asia, and globally;

• Assess on behalf of the financial institutions or assist the private sector clients regarding the requirements and fulfillment of Projects to the applicable ESG standards;

• Lead or support the delivery of assessment and due diligence reports;

• Communicate with relevant stakeholders such as financial institutions and private sector clients including environmental and other relevant departments;

• Represent the interests of the company in all dealings, and communications with ERM clients, potential clients, contacts and other businesses in the ERM Group and ensure that client needs are met and work is conducted to the highest standard; and

• Stay knowledgeable of trends and innovation in the field.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree qualification, preferably in environmental/ biodiversity/ conservation/ sociology/ geography/ renewable energy discipline;

• Experience or understanding in delivering multi-disciplinary projects for the Renewable, Power, Mining, or Infrastructure Sectors etc;

• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision;

• Ability to travel locally and internationally; and

• A strong ability to converse and write in English and Mandarin Language is a fundamental requirement
