About the role

As a Consultant/Developer at BigHand, you will work directly with clients to implement their Financial Productivity solutions. This includes working with firms to understand their unique needs, translating these into technical requirements, and implementing these requirements within their solutions. Your role will involve supporting clients throughout their project lifecycle, from implementation to post-live support.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong development skills combined with a customer-centric mindset. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, creative problem solvers, who are passionate about delivering top-quality technical solutions to customers.

What you’ll do

The role encompasses a combination of consulting and development duties, including:

• Manage client product implementations and projects to successful outcomes.

• Be in close touch with our team of consultants to help implement, customize, and support our range of Financial Productivity products.

• Report/dashboard design and development.

• Design, code, deploy, and test client-specific customizations and enhancements.

• Technical investigations.

• Full life-cycle client support.
  

What we’re looking for

Strong development skills and experience:

• Knowledge of T-SQL is required at a minimum, any additional tech stack knowledge is a bonus.

• Our technologies are SQL Server (relational database, T-SQL, SSAS, SSRS) plus HTML5, Angular JS, C# and others. While we prefer experience with these technologies, we will consider developers that are familiar with other technologies - our thinking is that strong developers can learn any technology stack.

• Core consultancy skills, including strong communication and people skills

• Prior experience in a similar customer-facing technical role

• Experience in Legal IT is a big plus, but is not required
