Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Consultant / Specialist Urologist to join a reputed healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of urological conditions and will be committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive urological consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of adult urological conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, investigations, and patient needs.
- Manage conditions involving the urinary tract, kidneys, bladder, prostate, and male reproductive system.
- Evaluate and manage patients with urinary tract infections, urinary obstruction, hematuria, urinary incontinence, renal and ureteric stones, and prostate disorders.
- Assess patients with lower urinary tract symptoms and male urinary and reproductive concerns.
- Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the approved clinical scope.
- Review and interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other diagnostic investigations.
- Identify patients requiring surgical intervention and plan or coordinate appropriate treatment.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative assessment and follow-up.
- Manage emergency urological presentations appropriately within the physician's scope of practice.
- Provide counseling regarding treatment options, procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Provide appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, infection-control, and patient-safety initiatives.
Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Urology
Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
Strong clinical and diagnostic decision-making skills.
Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of urological conditions.
Good procedural and clinical skills appropriate to the candidate's approved scope of practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient-focused approach with strong professional ethics.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
