A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Stroke Medicine Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide expert care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with acute and chronic cerebrovascular conditions.

The role involves managing stroke emergencies, developing comprehensive treatment plans, providing secondary stroke prevention strategies, collaborating with neurology, emergency, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
• Completion of recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurology / Stroke Medicine / Internal Medicine with Stroke Specialty Training
• Extensive experience in stroke diagnosis, management, and acute stroke care.
• Expertise in managing ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke cases, stroke prevention, and rehabilitation pathways.
• Experience with advanced stroke management protocols, including thrombolysis and stroke unit care, is an advantage.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
