Responsibilities

• Manage perioperative care from preoperative evaluation through postoperative recovery.

• Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and postoperative care.
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to foster medical advancements.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in General Surgery and fellowship training specializing in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• Valid medical licensure to practice as a surgeon in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in gastrointestinal surgical practice.
• Proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Dedication to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in gastrointestinal surgery.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
