We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will be responsible to design and build intuitive, accessible digital experiences. You’ll work end-to-end: discovering user needs, shaping interaction and visual design, and partnering closely with engineers to deliver high-quality UI in production. This is a senior role with strong influence on design quality, consistency, and ways of working across the product team.

In this role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end UX: discovery, user flows, IA, wireframes, prototyping, usability testing
• Build responsive, accessible and maintainable user interfaces using ReactJs, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Develop reusable components and establish effective front-end patterns for state management, routing and form handling.
• Integrate React applications with backend services through RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Deliver polished UI: responsive layouts, interaction design, visual hierarchy, micro-interactions
• Apply accessibility standards, inclusive design, content and contrast best practice
• Partner with Product and Engineering: translate requirements into build-ready designs and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to UI implementation: collaborate on component libraries/design systems; code UI where required (e.g., React/CSS)
• Measure and improve outcomes: analytics-informed iteration, experiment support, continuous optimisation
• Provide senior leadership: mentor peers, run critiques/workshops, drive consistency and quality across products
• Knowledge and experience on python backend application using FastAPI would be added advantage.

To be successful, you will:

• 6+ years’ experience in UX/UI design, product design, design engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work (discovery → design → delivery) with measurable outcomes.
• Strong in interaction design, visual design, and designing complex journeys (forms, onboarding, dashboards, transactional flows).
• Strong proficiency with design tools (Figma preferred) and collaborative workflows.
• Solid understanding of front-end constraints and modern UI implementation approaches (even if you’re not hands-on coding daily).
• Practical experience designing for accessibility and inclusive design.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence decisions with evidence.
