The Opportunity:

Design, automate and operate secure, resilient technology platforms that enable development teams to deliver software quickly and reliably. DevOps combines software development and IT operations, with strong emphasis on collaboration, automation and continuous delivery.

Principal responsibilities

• Manage cloud and on-premises platforms, containers and orchestration tools.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity and security.
• Support incident, problem and change management.
• Improve reliability, recoverability and operational resilience.
• Work with developers, architects, testers, cyber-security and operations teams.
• Apply infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management practices.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• Understanding of Agile delivery, secure development and IT service management.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Works effectively across engineering, business and control functions.
• Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Looks for practical improvements rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, commonly Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

What additional skills will be good to have？

• Experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, platform engineering or software engineering.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
