Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join the SAP Basis team and support the maintenance, evolution, administration, and migration of SAP environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA, SAP migrations to cloud environments, SAP installations and upgrades, and integration between SAP and non-SAP applications.

The role requires a technically strong professional who can work within a structured SAP Basis/product team and contribute to both operational activities and ongoing technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Basis administration across SAP environments.
• Support SAP migrations to cloud platforms, including real-time migration experience for both:
• SAP HANA-based systems
• Oracle-based SAP systems
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, maintenance, and evolutions.
• Administer and support SAP SLT.
• Manage and administer SAP Cloud Connector.
• Support integration between SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Manage SAP transports (TRs), including preparation, execution, and movement across environments.
• Support production moves and associated SAP processes.
• Manage SAP connectivity and authentication technologies.
• Support NetWeaver ABAP environments.
• Work with SSO, SAP/web authentication, federation, and related technologies.
• Perform file transfers and system connectivity using WinSCP and SSH.
• Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the SAP Basis product landscape.
• Work collaboratively with the wider SAP Basis team and other technical stakeholders.
• Follow established ITSM, Agile/Scrum, documentation, and change-management processes.

Essential Skills

• 6–8 years of SAP Basis experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BASIS and SAP HANA.
• Experience with SAP HANA administration.
• HANA Administration and HANA Authorization certification.
• Real-time experience with SAP migration to cloud environments.
• Experience migrating both HANA and Oracle-based SAP systems.
• SAP installation and upgrade experience.
• Experience with SAP SLT.
• Experience administering SAP Cloud Connector.
• Experience with SAP and non-SAP application integration.
• Strong knowledge of NetWeaver ABAP.
• Experience with SSO and SAP/web authentication.
• Knowledge of HABILE/Federation.
• Experience with DSM (EPI-USE).
• Experience managing production moves, including SAP AF processes.
• Strong knowledge of Transport Request (TR) management and execution.
• Experience with WinSCP and SSH connections and file transfers across systems.
• Good understanding of SAP Basis maintenance and operational processes.

Desirable Skills

Candidate Profile

Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, good documentation practices, and the ability to collaborate with different technical teams are essential.
