We're Hiring | Consultant Rheumatologist

We are currently hiring a Consultant Rheumatologist for a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines and patient needs.
• Manage conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, and other inflammatory and connective tissue disorders.
• Monitor treatment response, disease progression, and medication-related adverse effects.
• Perform or coordinate appropriate diagnostic procedures and investigations.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, pain specialists, and other healthcare professionals when required.
• Provide patient education regarding disease management, medications, lifestyle, and long-term care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Follow UAE healthcare regulations, clinical guidelines, and facility policies.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology or relevant specialty.
• Consultant-level qualification and relevant clinical experience in accordance with UAE licensing requirements.
• Valid DHA Eligibility Letter or DHA License is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Experience managing a broad range of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
