MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner closely with technology, product management, and operations teams to understand, analyze, interpret, and document business needs, translating them into clear, detailed functional and system requirements. Proactively recommend solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
  • Lead the articulation of business and functional requirements by developing comprehensive specifications for business processes, system enhancements, and new development initiatives. Provide ongoing business and technical support, including contributions to training and change management materials.
  • Review and assess existing systems, workflows, and operational challenges, identifying opportunities for automation, system enhancements, and process optimization.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain business requirement documents (BRD) and ensure alignment with functional and technical specifications used for system development.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and process documentation, and deliver training sessions to business partners on system and process changes.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for business partners by providing ongoing technical support, troubleshooting issues, conducting feasibility studies, and defining system requirements for complex data processing and reporting initiatives.
  • Build deep knowledge of current-state business processes, including end-to-end process flows, dependencies, and pain points, and design clear current-state and future-state business flows and requirements.
  • Develop a strong understanding of gfs client business models and operating patterns, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive cost optimization and resource efficiency.
  • Perform detailed mapping and gap analysis for each project or assignment to identify process, system, and control gaps.
  • Ensure all configurations, requirements, and solutions are thoroughly documented using predefined project templates. Obtain formal validation from the manager and engage impacted stakeholders to secure alignment and buy-in.
  • Design and prepare detailed test scenarios and test scripts to support system, integration, and user acceptance testing for each project.
  • Provide regular and timely project status updates to the manager, highlighting risks, dependencies, milestones, and key decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with core project teams, end users, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to ensure successful delivery.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner, coordinating with relevant teams as required to drive resolution.
  • Define, propose, and maintain best practices across projects, ensuring adherence by business teams in the production environment.
  • Serve as a key SME, providing guidance, mentorship, and domain expertise to team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all deliverables are planned, estimated, and executed in alignment with agreed timelines, scope, and available business and technology resources.
  • Communicate project progress, outcomes, and performance effectively to all stakeholders through dashboards, metrics, and structured reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

ESSENTIAL

· Strong working knowledge of sql and rdbms/database concepts, including development, deployment, and ongoing management.

· Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and supporting the billing revport™ (broadridge product), including:

o Front-end configuration for fee calculation rules.

o Back-end development of jasper reports (ireports and web-based jasper).

o Financial reporting support for billing operations.

o Data output generation from jasper jrxml to adobe pdf, excel, and word formats.

· Solid understanding of financial terminology, with working knowledge of investment instruments, asset management, or capital markets considered an advantage.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, business stakeholders, and technology teams.

· Strong numerical aptitude with proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing client requirements and project demands.

· Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced workload.

· Demonstrated experience eliciting, validating, and critically evaluating business and technical requirements during workshops and stakeholder meetings.

DESIRABLE

  • Proactive, creative mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and product enhancement.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and business domains.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Prior experience in Revenue and Expense Management and/or Billing Solutions in BFSI segment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with REVPORT (Broadridge) and/or JASPER reporting is must for this role.
  • Experience with M365 Productivity tool like – SharePoint/Power Platform/Apps would be addedadvantage for this role.

Eligibility for Internal partners

  • 24 months as a Technical Coordinator/Associate Consultant to move as a Team Leader/ Consultant.
  • Movement within TL and Consultant is 12 months
