About the Opportunity

Ellucian is seeking an experienced Consultant who will bring new and creative solutions to the evolution of our product while supporting our design principles: extensibility, configuration, usability, openness, and scalability. The individual will engage in the full development life cycle, from specification review to product adoption. The expectations for candidates to fill this role include significant experience in the areas below.

Where you will make an impact

• Work with a team of developers and other peers to build API based integrations between the Banner/Colleague ERPs and third party products and test the processes according to the prepared specifications.
• Create and execute accurate unit test cases to ensure thorough integration testing of customization before delivery
• Strong communication and analytical skills with demonstrable presentation and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated aptitude for logical application of problem-solving techniques.
• Stay current with Ellucian applications
• Have an aptitude to learn new / related technologies quickly and apply them on the projects you work on.

What you will bring

• Bachelor in computer science degree or equivalent
• 4 -6 years of programming experience in JavaScript, React, Node JS, Oracle SQL and Restful Web Services.
• Exhibits a strong sense of ownership for individual work assignments
• Experience working independently with little direction to achieve goals. Ability to work with a remote team leveraging available tools.
• Brings an established, effective method for tracking and completing tasks on time.
• Prefers a collaborative work environment over working solo, with a bias towards sharing credit for achievement over individual recognition.
