As a Consultant Radiologist, you will leverage your expertise in diagnostic imaging to provide accurate interpretations that assist clinicians in diagnosing and managing patient conditions. Your analyses will play a crucial role in guiding patient care and treatment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret medical imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine scans accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare detailed reports explaining imaging findings and clinical implications.
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient management plans.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and imaging quality throughout all diagnostic procedures.
• Stay current with advances in radiology techniques, technology, and research.
• Adhere to all relevant medical, ethical, and legal protocols governing radiological practice.

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in Radiology.
• Completion of accredited Radiology residency program.
• Proven clinical experience as a Radiologist, preferably in a consultant capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, pathology, and radiological imaging modalities.
• Proficiency in interpreting various imaging technologies such as X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
• Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and PACS preferred.
