With around 80 team members, our growing Brussels’ office is focused on the delivery of integrated European Affairs and Communications support to its clients across a broad range of sectors.

As part of its continuing growth plans, we have an opportunity for a consultant to join our Food & Agriculture practice to support existing client accounts, and contribute to the growth and development of the business whilst being part of a motivated team.

In general, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting a portfolio of clients in the Agri/Food sector.
• Supporting client programmes that integrate a full range of public affairs and communications strategies both in Brussels and across the group on pan-European projects.
• Implementing client service offerings, with a particular focus on using communications tools to further clients' objectives.
• Supporting new business proposals and pitches, and being part of project teams.
• Actively engaging with colleagues across the group to develop and implement marketing strategies within the sector

What we are looking for:

• In the region of 2 to 3 years' experience developed within an EU context.
• Experience gained within a EU Public Affairs consultancy, a Corporate, Trade Association or EU Institution is essential.
• Good project management skills.
• Experience in the areas of Agricultural policy, Agri-Trade, animal health or substance advocacy in an EU context is essential;
• Experience with comitology processes (secondary legislation, i.e. delegated / implemented acts) is highly desirable;
• A collaborative and caring approach to working with colleagues in Brussels and across the Group.
• An inquisitive nature with a desire for learning and innovative practices.
• A high level of motivation and drive for excellence.
