Consultant Psychiatrist – Shape the Role Around You

We’re currently working closely with multiple services across Queensland who are genuinely open to tailoring roles around experienced psychiatrists — not just plugging you into a vacancy. Whether your focus is general adult, child & adolescent, forensic, addiction, or another subspecialty, there’s flexibility here to align with your interests and long-term plans.

What makes this different?

This isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” position. These roles sit within the broader public system under Queensland Health, but each Hospital and Health Service operates with its own structure, leadership style, and clinical priorities.

That means:

• You can explore metro, coastal, or regional locations
• You’ll have input into your clinical mix (inpatient, community, outreach, etc.)
• There are real opportunities to get involved in service development and reform initiatives

The Offer

• Total package typically ranging $400,000 – $525,000+
• Relocation support for you and your family
