Priory Lakeside View has an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. There is flexibility for one day working from home per week; the rest will be on site. Working hours will be between Monday and Friday.

Priory Lakeside View, Willenhall, West Midlands is a specialist inpatient service supporting adults with acute mental health needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Noose Lane and Wolverhampton railway station approximately 3–4 miles from the service

What you'll be doing

As a Consultant Psychiatrist at Lakeside View, you will cover 17 beds in our service, covering Robin and Swan wards. You will be working with both male and female patients over the age of 18.

You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients from admission to discharge with the support of a skilled and motivated MDT.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential for the role
Applicants must hold MRCPsych (or an equivalent qualification), a CCT (or equivalent) and be included on the GMC Specialist Register, along with Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status. They must demonstrate clinical knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to the speciality, the ability to work within and lead a team, and a commitment to shared leadership, collaborative working, and service improvement. Candidates should also have evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.

Due to the experience of the current team at the site, we can support a newly registered Consultant or someone with experience in this field at this level before.
