Job Opportunity: Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Northern England
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Full-Time

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Consultant Psychiatrist for an opportunity based in Northern England.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric expertise within the Adult Mental Health Unit.
• Collaborate closely with two other Psychiatrists, the Lead Medic, and a comprehensive Multi-Professional Team including Junior Doctors, Psychology, Allied Health Professionals, Nurse Consultants, and (Trainee) ACPs.
• Work alongside a fully staffed nursing team, with additional support from a discharge coordinator and a dedicated Patient Flow team.
• Actively participate in the Consultant network, contributing to both Community and Inpatient services.

Qualifications:

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
• On the GMC Specialist Register, or within 3 months of completion.
• Section 12(2) MHA approval or close to completion.
