Consultant, Principal

Department: Infor Consulting Services

Description

Infor is seeking a Consultant to design and implement technical solutions that align with business requirements. This role will be responsible for defining system architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that solutions meet scalability, security, and performance standards.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes

  • Design and develop technical architectures based on business requirements and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with project teams to define system specifications, integrations, and dependencies
  • Conduct assessments of existing systems and recommend solutions for optimization or upgrades
  • Ensure the alignment of technical solutions with security, performance, and scalability requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans for system integrations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of architectural designs, specifications, and system integrations
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams and support the implementation of solutions

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and implementing ERP solutions
  • Experience with system architecture principles, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid models
  • Software architecture design tools and framework experience
  • Experience with ERP system integration, data modeling, and API design
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical team
  • Experience on Infor OS, Mongoose, API Gateway
  • Experience with SSDLC process
  • Knowledge of REST API, XML, JSON

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps
  • Experience with security protocols, performance optimization, and scalability best practices
  • Experience providing strategic guidance on technical solutions across large-scale projects
  • Experience with AI based development tools like Cursor, Kiro, Claude Code
