We're Hiring | Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist – Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of endocrine disorders in infants, children, and adolescents while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary pediatric team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric endocrine disorders, including:
• Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Growth disorders and short stature
• Thyroid disorders
• Adrenal and pituitary disorders
• Pubertal disorders
• Obesity and metabolic disorders
• Calcium and bone metabolism disorders
• Disorders of sexual development
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret endocrine laboratory investigations, imaging, and dynamic hormone testing.
• Manage insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and advanced diabetes care where applicable.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding disease management and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical governance, and patient safety standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and contribute to teaching and research activities where applicable.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS/MD with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or Board Certification in Pediatric Endocrinology (or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification).
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at the Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant license. Candidates eligible for licensing are encouraged to apply.
• Expertise in managing complex pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered, evidence-based care.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working in internationally accredited children's hospitals or tertiary care centers.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Diabetes or related subspecialties is an added advantage.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
