Consultant Paediatrician – Permanent Part-Time

Are you a passionate and experienced Paediatrician ready to lead and mentor within a high-performing clinical team? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional health service located just 45 minutes from Adelaide. This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive paediatric team in a modern hospital environment, providing care to children and families across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

About the Role:

You’ll be joining a team committed to best-practice paediatric care, with a strong focus on safety, training, and innovation. As Consultant Paediatrician, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality paediatric care across general and acute settings.
• Mentoring and supporting junior medical staff and trainees (paediatrics and GP registrars).
• Contributing to service development and quality improvement projects.
• Playing a key role in maintaining training accreditation standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Specialist Registration with AHPRA (Paediatrics or General Practice with paediatric scope).
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in paediatrics, with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.
